Katie Ryan, a Girl Scout with Nassau County’s Troop 59, loads several boxes of Girl Scout cookies onto a Marines Hummer May 2 at the 1st Marine Corps District headquarters building. The cookies were dropped off as part of Operation Cookie, a Girl Scouts of America program intended to provide service members home and abroad with Girl Scout cookies.
