Hannah DeBalsi, Athlete of the Month from Staples High School, is presented with a plaque by Staff Sergeant Jason Caldwell on behalf of the U.S. Marine Corps and Sports Illustrated, Jan. 9, 2016 at Staples High School, Westport, Conn. DeBalsi received the award for excellence in cross-country, her desire to give back to her community and her superior performance in her academics.
