Sergeant Major David E. Compton, a former drill instructor, drill master and drill instructor-trainer, inquires as to the lack of volume given by one candidate of the Officer Selection Office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Oct. 24. During the monthly candidate physical training function, Compton demonstrated what the candidates are to expect from the sergeant instructors at Officer Candidate School. Compton is the sergeant major of Recruiting Station Portsmouth, NH.
