Sergeant Major David Compton (center), sergeant major of Recruiting Station Portsmouth, New Hampshire, stands with newly-promoted Gunnery Sgt. Joshua Roadcap (right) and Staff Sgt. Kristopher Barber following their promotion ceremony at the RS headquarters, July 6. The two Marines were meritoriously promoted after winning their respective recruiter meritorious boards. Roadcap is the staff noncommissioned officer-in-charge of Recruiting Substation Brockton, Massachusetts, and Barber is the SNCOIC of RSS Concord, New Hampshire.
