Staff Sgt. Gerren Means and Sgt. Megan Roberts suggest that a poolee "pick up his volume" during Recruiting Station Portsmouth's all-hands pool function, May 2. The function was a two-day evolution where nearly 400 poolees throughout Maine, New Hampshire and eastern Massachusetts went through screenings and physical tests with added motivation from two Parris Island drill instructors. Means is a senior drill instructor with India Co., 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, and Roberts is a drill instructor with Oscar Co., 4th RTB.
