NEW YORK— Col. Stephen Liszewski presents a piece of cake to Gui Wyser-Pratte, the oldest Marine present, during the Marine Corps birthday celebration with the Council of Foreign Relations Nov. 6. “Tradition and ceremony are important to whom we are and that’s how we instill our timeless virtues from one generation to the next,” said Liszweski, the U.S. Marine Corps military fellow to the Council on Foreign Relations.
