Major Kyle Daly

Major Kyle Daly is a native of San Diego, California and graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in 2008.  He earned a History degree from the University of Arizona in 2012.

Major Daly attended Platoon Leaders Course Juniors in 2010 and earned his commission upon graduation of Seniors in 2012.  He attended The Basic School in 2013 and Infantry Officers Course 4-14. 

Upon completion of MOS school, Major Daly was assigned to 3d Battalion, 7th Marines, aboard Marine Course Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms, California.  There, Major Daly served as a CAAT and 81mm Mortar Platoon Commander in Weapons Company.  He deployed to Al Asad Air Base, Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve 15.2 and 17.1.

Upon return from his second deployment, Major Daly was reassigned to Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group (TTECG) and served as an Infantry Maneuver and Fires Instructor from 2017 until 2020. 

Upon completion of his assignment as a Coyote, Major Daly attended the US Army Maneuver Captain’s Career Course (MCCC), where he was a distinguished graduate.  After MCCC graduation, Major Daly reported to 3d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment where he served as Company Commander for Weapons Company from April 2021 to April 2022. While deployed in support of Unit Deployment Program East 22.1 Major Daly assumed the billet of Operations Officer. 

Upon redeployment in August 2022, Major Daly continued serving as the Operations Officer until he took command of Recruiting Station Springfield in June 2023. 

Major Daly’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and Combat Action Ribbon.
