Gunnery Sgt. David W. Henein, a 39-year-old native of Detroit and the operations chief with Bethesda Detachment, Wounded Warrior Battalion-East, Wounded Warrior Regiment, explains to a policeman that he served on the USS New York during his last deployment. Henein and other wounded warriors visited the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Feb. 1. “Just being on that ship to begin with was moving and I am very happy to be able to come here and see this memorial,” said Henein.
