Cpl. MaryBeth Monson stands beside Air Force Gen. Janet C. Wolfenbarger and retired Army Col. Jack H. Jacobs after being awarded the Military Leadership Award, May 2, at The Pierre Hotel during the 2013 USO Woman of the Year Luncheon. Monson is an aircraft intermediate level structures mechanic with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Wolfenbarger is the commander of Air Force Materiel Command and the USO Woman of the Year. Jacobs is a Medal of Honor recipient and was a special guest speaker during the event.
