U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. Austin "Sparky" Renforth speaks to the recruiters of Recruiting Station Portsmouth during the command's monthly training period held at the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape school on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, July 12, 2017. Renforth spoke to the Marines about their contributions to the national recruiting effort. Renforth is the commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Repot Parris Island, S.C., and Marine Corps Recruiting Command's Eastern Recruiting Region.
