CAMP FOGARTY, RI – Once officer candidates arrived for Recruiting Station Portsmouth’s and Recruiting Station Springfield’s officer candidate’s school prep weekend the exit was out of site and the learning began. The training events were designed to prepare the possible Marine Corps officers for Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Va. There was no circumventing what the drill instructors had in store for the candidates.
