Sergeant Major Julian E. OrozcoColorado

 Sergeant Major OrozcoColorado enlisted in the Marine Corps in February 2002 and completed Recruit Training at MCRD Parris Island that following May. Private OrozcoColorado attended MCT and Inventory Management Basic school in Camp Lejeune, NC. Upon completion, Private First Class OrozcoColorado reported to Material Readiness Battalion, 3d FSSG, Okinawa, Japan to performs the duties as a Warehouse Clerk. 
 
   In September 2003, Lance Corporal OrozcoColorado reported to H&S Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejune, NC, to perform the duties as a Warehouse Clerk. During this tour, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal, reenlisted, and executed a lateral moved into the communications field as a Tactical Switching Operator (0612).
 
   In June 2006, Corporal OrozcoColorado reported to 3d Battalion 6th Marines, Camp Lejeune, NC. While assigned to this unit, he performed duties as Tactical Switching Operator and Platoon Sergeant for the Communications Platoon. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006 and 2008.
 
   In January 2010, Sergeant OrozcoColorado attended and graduated from Drill Instructor School, MCRD San Diego and subsequently assigned to 2d Recruit Training Battalion, Echo Company, where he served as Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, and Chief Drill Instructor. He was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in November 2010.
 
   In August 2013, after a successful tour as a Drill Instructor, Staff Sergeant OrozcoColorado reported to 7th Communications Battalion Okinawa, Japan, where he performed duties as a Platoon Sergeant. In May 2014, he executed orders to 11th Marines Regiment, Camp Pendleton, CA, to perform duties as a Tactical Switching Operator and Platoon Sergeant for the Communications Platoon. 
 
   In May 2016, Staff Sergeant OrozcoColorado received orders to the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD, where he served as 13th Company and the Soccer Team Senior Enlisted Leader. Subsequently, he was assigned to Navy Football as the assistant of player development. While assigned to this unit, he was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.
 
   In May 2019, Gunnery Sergeant OrozcoColorado received orders to Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38, where he served as the detachment First Sergeant for Headquarters Detachment. While assigned to this unit, he was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant. 
 
    In September 2021, First Sergeant OrozcoColorado received orders to Marine Wing Support Squadron 372, where he currently serves as the company First Sergeant for H&S Company and participate in support of Marine Aviation Support Activity 23.
 
    In February 2024, Sergeant Major OrozcoColorado was frocked and transfered to Recruiting Station Boston to serve as the Recruiting Station Sergeant Major.
   
   Sergeant Major OrozcoColorado's personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with four gold stars and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star.
